Frank Artale
Frank has 24 years of experience in the software industry. Currently he serves as vice president, business development at Citrix Systems. He and is responsible for all aspects of Citrix's business development with software and hardware technology partners. He joined Citrix from XenSource where he was responsible for strategic marketing and business development. Prior to XenSource, Frank was a founder and CEO of Consera Software, a management software company, which was acquired by HP in 2004. Before founding Consera, he was vice president of the Windows Solutions Group for VERITAS Software, where he oversaw overall product strategy of the Windows targeted solutions. He also held the position of general manager in the Windows 2000 group at Microsoft Corporation, one of the many and varied product management and sales positions he held during his nine-year career with the company. Before joining Microsoft, Frank held positions as a software engineer and engineering manager building trader workstation and retail brokerage delivery systems first at an IBM/Merrill Lynch joint venture (IMNET) then at FD Consulting. Frank attended Polytechnic Institute of New York as a Board of Trustees Scholar where he studied Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
Mark Zbikowski
Mark has over 25 years of experience leading high-tech engineering efforts in the Windows space. He is a former Microsoft Architect who joined the company only a few years after its inception, leading efforts in MS-DOS, OS/2, Cairo and Windows NT. In 2006, Mark was honored for 25 years of service with the company and the first employee to reach this milestone other than Bill Gates and Steve Ballmer. He was the designer of the DOS executable file format, used in MS-DOS executable files and was an architect, development manager and key contributor to Cairo, leading the file system (Object File System specifically) and content index efforts. Mark also worked on the Windows NT kernel, focusing on performance and size, before becoming architect and
development manager for NT file systems. He retired from Microsoft in June of 2006 and holds a bachelor's degree from Harvard in applied mathematics and a Master's degree from Yale.
Les Yetton
Les brings over 20 years of management and leadership experience in successfully building technology companies to InstallFree. Currently, he serves as Senior Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Business Development at Desktone. Prior, Les was with Microsoft where he served as a Director of Business Development in the Windows Management and Solutions Division, following Microsoft's acquisition of Softricity in July 2006. He was recruited by Softricity's CEO in September 2000 as part of a new management team to re-focus the company into the enterprise space. He managed and grew revenue from zero to $16M from 2002 – 2005 in software, maintenance and consulting revenues, taking the company from 1 to over 400 customers. Previously, Les served as President and GM of North & South America at Axis Communications. He is a graduate of Norwich University where he received his B.S. in economics.
Kartik Raghavan
Kartik is an advisor to Trilogy Equity Partners and several early stage startups. Most recently, he was a Director and Technology Assistant to the Chief Software Architect working on Microsoft's Live services strategy and announcements and was an early member of the Windows Live Core Platform team. Previously, Kartik was the Technical Assistant to the President of the Microsoft Business Division, where he worked on numerous business strategy and technical projects including the acquisition of Groove Networks and the creation of Microsoft's Office Live group. Kartik joined Microsoft in 1996 where he contributed to multiple releases of Windows Client and Server, as well as leading several successful technology incubation projects in Windows including Windows Small Business Server and products in the web, storage and appliance space. He is a graduate of Dartmouth College where he received an AB in Engineering and Economics.
