Bridge Virtual Agent
The Bridge Virtual Agent is the active component running at host end-points. It provides the shell integration and detects changes done in the IFMC.
- Does not require any installation on end-points
- Provides non-intrusive integration in to the host OS
- Adds desktop icons, file association, Start Menu entries, right-click options
- Provides for complete application interconnectivity with separate virtual and non-virtual applications.
- Dynamically configures itself based on location and coditional parements (such as OS Version, Domain name, etc.)
InstallFree Management Console (IFMC)
The IFMC provides IT Professionals with an MMC-based management console that retrieves the objects and structure of an organization's Active Directory (AD) schema. Once populated with AD objects, the IT professional can use the IFMC to modularly assign the separately packaged applications, add-ons and updates to any object at any level.
- Leverage AD Tree structure inheritance
- The IFMC is a virtual application that can run off any file server
- Uses XML files eliminating the need of encumbered databases
- Delivers applications to users based on their own AD login credentials

The InstallFree Encapsulator
The InstallFree Encapsulator is comprised from a set of tools used to create, edit and test the different flavors of Application On Demand (AOD) files that are used in the InstallFree Bridge deployment platform including Application AODs, Expansion AODs and Update AODs.
- Completely separated and unaffected by the PC it is running on
- Does not require a "clean machine" for the virtualization process
- Produced Virtual application packages are free from any dependencies or impurities
