InstallFree Virtual (IFV) Applications are at the core of InstallFree's unique and fresh approach to application virtualization. They offer secure, self-sufficient and modular virtual applications that are easily created and maintained, while offering the end-user a continuous and rich user experience across multiple computing platforms and scenarios. This includes having admin-like privileges from within his/her applications even when working under a limited or guest account, enabling IT Departments can keep their PCs in a safe locked-down mode without imposing harsh computing restrictions on the users.

As opposed to competing Application Virtualization solutions, IFV Applications can be created on any Windows XP machine without requiring a clean PC, allowing the same packaged IFV Application to work on almost any Windows-based platform regardless of the host settings and components that were present on the machine used for the virtualization process.

Due to InstallFree's unique Dynamic Binding feature, IFV Applications are modular and can be deployed in separate packages of base-application, add-ons, plug-ins and update-patches.
