Overview:
The InstallFree Bridge enables the virtualization and central administration of separately packaged desktop elements such as: applications, add-ons, plug-ins and update-patches. The process enables modular and flexible application delivery and management, using a virtual management console and a virtual agent deployed over existing infrastructure.
The InstallFree Bridge allows complete application integration into the host environment, without intruding into the host's registry or file system, and without requiring an installed agent. The InstallFree Bridge Virtual Agent seamlessly binds InstallFree Virtual (IFV) Applications into their non-virtual surroundings, providing desktop and start-menu shortcuts, right-click menus, file association, application information in the Add/Remove Programs, and a free and safe data flow between separately packaged IFV Applications and non-virtual applications alike.

Leverages Existing Infrastructure: The InstallFree Bridge requires only a file share! There is no need to dedicate a specialized server, there is no installed database, no streaming server and no installation process whatsoever allowing for the existing infrastructure to remain unchanged
Discard Host Limitations: Deliver applications to almost any Windows-based platform across the organization and beyond including managed and un-managed PCs, Terminal Server and Citrix XenApp
Virtual Agent: The InstallFree Bridge uses a virtual agent that does not require any pre-installation of any component on the host PC
Changes can be Made on the fly: The Bridge Agent continuously synchronizes with settings and changes made by the IT Administrator, and re-configures itself at runtime according to conditional rules.
Stateless Architecture with Stateful Experience: Decoupling the applications and the users' settings (UserData) assures that IFV Applications and other virtual elements stay untouched and allow one packaged application file to be used by many users without limiting their experience
UserData Rollback and Reset: IFV Applications' UserData can be reset to point zero altogether, providing the fastest disaster recovery possible
Application Streaming: Allow applications and UserData to be streamed from a file share to the host at block level and with no dedicated streaming server or installed client on the host machine
Deliver Separately Packaged Applications, add-ons and Updates: Granular deployment of decoupled elements to objects fount in Active Directory schema (Organizational Units, Groups, Individual Users and entire Domain Forests)
Dynamic Binding into Host Environment: Complete and natural integration into the host PCs environment that includes icons and file associations, right-click menu options and shortcuts on the desktop and in the start menu with no special configuration needed
Host Interconnectivity Policies: Enables IT to set condition-based access policies in the local host environment, including clipboard control, local drives, cross-communication between native and virtual applications
Complete user Autonomy on Locked-down Computers: Enables users to enjoy admin-like privileges from within their IFV Applications without violating the host's lock-down privileges and user account policies
Self Provisioning: IT can present users a Self Provisioning virtual application that will allow them to select their own set of predetermined virtual applications
